Fasting method on Pausha Putrada Ekadashi

For fasting on this special day, a Hindu fasting person has to get up at the start of the first sunlight and start-up day with the name of his God, Vishnu. After this, he must wear fully clean clothes just after taking a bath in special water. Before this procedure, the fasting person has to keep an idol at the top of his house, representing that it is an ideal of Vishnu. After this, he has to follow the following steps.

• The idol that has been kept on top of the home; must have to cover with a piece of cloth that is red and yellow and can also be used for this purpose.
• It’s time to worship that idol that has been placed on top place of home, but before it, take a full bath in that idol and be sure that it is fresh and ready for its worship. 
• Start worshiping it after making sure that it is fully fresh and put a white dress on it so that it will not show to you and you can make its worship easily without its fear.
• While worshiping, offering different types of sweets is necessary to make it happy. In addition, you can also offer fruits to Vishnu to get its pleasure. 
• After offering different fruits, again start worshiping them. It is necessary to make worshiping the whole day, so that evening time came. As evening came, I started another task.
• The task in the evening is to use sweets. The fruits you have offered to Vishnu will also be consumed by others, but the fasting person has to keep fasting the whole day so that night arrives.
