Raksha Bandhan

The day dedicated to the sister-brother relationship is named Raksha Bandhan. In all ceremonies, the brothers have to respect their sisters, which is the order of God of the day. The flowers are presented to the sisters by their brothers. In return, the sisters also deliver flowers to their brothers. The day’s activities add to the positivity of the mind, and society grows according to the Indians. According to a few celebrators, it is named brothers day. According to older adults, it is called sisters day. A white thread is tied to the sisters by the brothers in Mander on the event. Sisters give a gift to the brother, and the brother contributes to the sister. Grants are also shared among the couples on this Bandhan day. 

Celebration points related to Raksha Bandhan

• There is a Bandhan ceremony arranged in the temples. As the Puja ceremony ends, the red and white threads are taken to the temples. The boy who is in a relation of brother with a girl has to offer Puja to the Vishnu lord, and then his sister will tie a red thread on his arm that shows the love of sister the brother, and their relationship grows very well due to the Puja of the Lord. 
• The girl and the boy who are in love with each other got married on the event day. The foods cooked include Poori, and Tulsi is added to it. The new clothes are offered to the Lord as the Lord’s gift. Before the marriage ceremonies, the Lord is decorated with flowers, and garlands are also provided for it after the first marriage ceremony of the day.
