Rama Navami is the event on which all Indians celebrate the birthday of the great God Rama. The month this event is celebrated is Chaitra, according to the Hindu calendar. The period in which the Rama was born was the Madyahna period—the Madyahna period referred to as the middle period of the day. The place where Rama was born is mentioned as Ayodhya according to the religious Hindus. The decoration of Ayodhya is discussed below.

Decoration of Ayodhya

The splendid decoration of Ayodhya is done one day before the event. The unique Tulsi leaves are taken from the Tulsi market and are washed and offered to the decorators that use them to decorate the temple. The red and white flower combination is also used to make the Orland and to illustrate the temples of the Rama. Before showering the flowers on this place, it is washed first and dried by the sun’s light. The flowers are spread on this place after getting it dry. The bathing activities are also performed on Rama Navami day. The river is fixed for bathing activities performance. The place where the bathing activities are conducted is the main river of the Hindus that are dedicated to the holy rivers. The river that is fixed for bathing on this day is Sarayu. More than ten dips are taken in this river as it is the order of the Rama according to the religious concept of the Hindus. 

Rama Birthday 

The birthday of Rama is celebrated in the temple where the idols of Rama are placed. The fasts that are performed at the event are named Rama Navami fast. This fast lasts 24 hours, and the fantastic festival foods are taken while offering and breaking the fast. The older women provide the Vishnu quickly by taking water from the temple of Vishnu.
