- Shitala worshippers will have to take a bath after waking and come to Shitala temple to offer worship to her.
- The idols of Shitala are also washed in the holy Ganga water, and Shitala’s red clothes are wrapped around them after bathing.
- As the bathing activity related to Shitala will be completed, the Puja ceremony will be started at the river edge in Shitala’s honour.
- Sheetala Ashtakam will be recited as the Manter of Sheetala after the Puja activity, and foods will be cooked for Sheetala.
- After all the worship related to her, the incense sticks and red flower garlands will be presented to Shitala.
