After this transition, the year, according to the solar calendar changes, is celebrated as Solar New Year. Different names are used for the Solar New Year in various areas of India. The Muhurat activity belongs to this Sankranti, and the name used by the Hindus for this Sankranti is Kaal Muhurat. This Muhurat is also an important part of this day that has to be performed on the same day.

Pana Drink 

Special drinks are also prepared that are offered to the special persons. The drink that is prepared has a special name, Pana. This drink is also called Prasad, and all people take it. There is a ceremony arranged for drinking this drink, called the Pana drink ceremony, in which only those who have offered prayers to the sun god can come. This drink has great advantages, according to a few Indians.
