The primary good and evil are told in the temples before Puja. The Good evil story relates to Rama and his opponent God Ravana. The Rama was the excellent God due to their good deeds and beliefs, while the Ravana was wrong, and a war was fought between Rama and Ravana. The war resulted in Rama winning and the Ravanva losing. So this thing is told to them that you have to stay permanently on the right path to get the victory.

Shasti fasting on Soora Samharam

The Shasti fasting is offered to the victory God Rama in appreciation of him. The Fast offering person has to get up at midnight for a bath taking. After taking a bath, prayers to the Rama are offered. The Satvik foods are taken in the temple, and the fast is provided with it. Fast consists of more than ten hours duration. After ten hours, the fast is broken with the food kept. After breaking the fast, special prayers are offered to God for blessings and salvation.
