Tula Sankranti

Kartika is the Month in the calendar of the Hindus when the Tula Sankranti is celebrated. Tula Sankranti is the most important Sankranti celebrated in the Hindu religion as a festival. The rice fields are cleared on this day and prepared to offer worship there. According to the beliefs of the Indians, it is thought that providing worship on the rice field after clearing the area in one year caused an increase in rice crops in the next year. It has great importance from all aspects like the religious, cultural, and social effects. The Laxmi is the Goddess that is also worshipped on this Sankranti. Few Puja activities are offered to the Gods, but maximum worship is related to future planning in which the planning for the Future is done by providing Future worship.

Why Tula Sankranti is important

There is a great transition of the sun from one region to the other on Tula Sankranti. During the event, the sun moves in the region named Tula Rashi. The Laxmi is worshipped as the Goddess that can protect the crops and the fields of all the lands of India and those of those who believe in the Laxmi. Various dishes are also prepared for the Laxmi. In those dishes, the first dish is the dish in which the rice is added. Different dishes are prepared that are the favourite of the Laxmi, and the Laxmi feels happy and gives unlimited profits to the dishes offering persons.

Lakshmi Rice

The rice cooked for the dish Laxmi is the rice that comes from the field that is cleared for the offering of worship; in addition, the Puja is also offered to the Laxmi in that ground by putting the Laxmi Idols in the front on the field. This shows the importance of the event as the crop are protected on this day by God, and in addition, the fertility of the land also increases due to the worship offered on that land. The chances of crop loss come to the minimum value due to the significant effect of glorification.
