The rituals related to Varuthini Ekadashi include clearing one’s teeth using Tulsi Patra and taking a bath in the Yamuna or Ganga. The fasting person prepares Bhog, which is taken while concluding the fast in the Mander. Songs are sung in the Mander before Vishnu’s idol to please him, and clothes are presented as a gift.
To clear one’s sins, Puja is offered to Vishnu. Before the Puja ritual, the Vishnu idols are cleaned, and new clothes are wrapped around them.
