Vasant Panchami

In other countries, there are no celebrations that are done to welcome the season of spring. But due to the customs and traditions in India, there is a welcome ceremony arranged in the happiness of the spring season. The months in which the Vasant Panchami is celebrated are January and its friend month, February. This day is also marked according to the month named Shukla Paksha. The flowers are offered to the Saraswati on this day after providing the Puja named Saraswati Puja. The food-eating ceremony celebrated on this day is called the Prasada ceremony. The people in the temple eat the food offered to God after the Saraswati Puja. Each food prepared on this day is named Prasada. 

Celebrations related to Vasant Panchami

Grand celebrations like the kites flying and wearing the unique Jasmine garlands are enjoyed on this day. Other than this, the foods are also prepared, named yellow foods. In the yellow foods, yellow sweets are included. All the foodstuffs related to the yellow foods are offered to the Gods in the Manders after the Puja of the Main God, Vishnu. Shiva and the relative of Shiva are also worshipped on this day. The Puja offered to the Shiva is named Shiva Puja, and the Puja provided to the relative of the Shiva is named Parwati Puja. The food offered to these Gods is presented to the people as the Prasad. The Puja God also gives a great reward due to the eating of Prasad.

How Vasant Panchami is important

There are great essential points related to the Vasant Panchami. One who wants to start a new work in life can begin on this day, and that will be good for its luck. On this great day, a few people also shift to the other houses where they have not gone earlier. New business projects are also started on this day because Vasant Panchami is the best day to start new projects. It is also considered the best day for marriage or to arrange a system that is not working. The crops are also harvested, and excellent yield is obtained from it with the blessings of Saraswati.
