Vasudeva Dwadashi

Events in which worship is offered to Krishna are called Vasudeva Dwadashi. Before this event, Devshayani Ekadashi is celebrated. Other than Krishna, Lakshmi is also worshipped on this day. Worships on this day give salvation to the worshipper’s soul, and his ancestors are also blessed. In 2023, it will be celebrated on the 30th of June. For worshipping Lakshmi, Lakshmi idols are taken to Vishnu temple and decorated with flowers and Lakshami art.

Practices on Vasudeva Dwadashi

• A person who will celebrate this day will have to take a bath on the event day, and after the event day, celebrators wear new dresses and offer Puja to Vishnu after bathing. 
• One who will offer fast to Vishnu on this festival will gain happiness and blessings from Vishnu. Incense is offered to Vishnu idol while reciting Vishnu Manter in his temple. 
• The primary ritualistic act on this festival is Panch Amrit, performed after concluding fast at home. It is necessary to place the Vishnu idol or Vishnu art in front while performing it.

Soul peace on Vasudeva Dwadashi

The event acts are the source of mind and soul peace. According to Hindus, bathing activity on this festival leads to soul salvation, and all diseases are removed from the worshipper’s body. Manters’ recitation activity proved to get soul peace from Vishnu as recited Manters are related to Vishnu. Lakshmi is worshipped by Vasudeva women in the temple of Lakshmi, and they get Lakshmi blessings from her. In charity activities, new Clothes are divided among the poor.
