Rituals on Vat Savitri Vrat
Like other Hindu festivals, rituals are also offered at this event. The first ritual that is performed on this is bathing. The bathing ritual is performed in a private bath, but it is better to take it in holy rivers like Ganga. All the women wear red Saree. All the worship is performed under the tree having all features of the Banyan tree. For this purpose, people gathered there, and the place of prayer was cleared by using cleaning instruments. To remove all the impurities present at the residence, the Ganga Jaal is used by the cleaners because it is said that, by using the Ganga Jaal, all the impurities are cleared where it is being used. Now it’s time to place the Braham. For that purpose, the Saptadhanya is used by them. The bamboo basket is taken from the Bazar, where the Saptadhanya is refilled. After placing the Saptadhanya in the basket of Bamboo qualities, the Brahama is placed in it. The process is repeated with the Bambo basket, and the Savitri idols are placed in it. After making the Bambo baskets, Brahams and Savitri’s models are taken in the shade of Banyan. The rice flour is offered to the tree, and water is given to it. It is necessary to provide water to the Banyan tree; otherwise, worship will remain incomplete. The leaves of the tree are also used during prayer, and garlands are made up of fresh leaves offered to the Lord that is present in the Bambo baskets. Fruits are also present in the Bambo baskets that are used after worship. If you are offering fast to the Brahmin, use 11 soaked grams to break off quickly.
