Vibhuvana Sankashti Chaturthi 4 August

Chaturthi day, when Ganpati avatars of Ganesha are worshipped with Ganpati Vrat, is called Vibhuvana Sankashti Chaturthi. The month according to the Hindu calendar, when arranged, is called Adhika, and various names for the Peetha are considered necessary on this Chaturthi. In 2022, it was organized on the 5th of October. A person who has committed sins in the life in any field of life, all his sins are cleared due to Ganpati worship on this Chaturthi day. 

How Ganesha worshippers are benefitted on Vibhuvana Sankashti Chaturthi. 

• Ganpati fasts are offered for wealth blessings. The reward received as a benefit of providing worship to Ganesha is to finish obstacles. 
• Prayers are presented for salvation. A ceremony is arranged after Puja for the ancestor’s salvation, and remarkable ancestors’ prayers are given to the Ganpati. 
• Ganesha worshippers receive prosperity on this day from Ganesha, and all his family members also feel happy due to God’s blessings. 

Vibhuvana Sankashti Chaturthi (Rituals) 

Worshippers wear the new dress after bathing in Ganga and decorate Ganpati idols. Fresh Durva grass is taken from the garden and brought near the idol after taking it from the Durva grass garden. Before decorating idols with Durva, grass and idol will be washed in Ganga. After trimming the idol, apply a pleasant fragrance to it. Decorate homes with Durva and display green lights on the doorstep. Women must make Ganpati food named Laddo, prepare by women, and present it to God before the Puja Act. Ultimately, offer Bhog and distribute cooked food among Mantra reciting people.
