Vishwakarma Puja is a festival celebrated to honor Vishwakarma, the Hindu god of creation, on his birthday with great devotion and love. The first architect of the world was believed to be Vishwakarma, hence this event holds great significance in his honor.

On Vishwakarma Puja, various religious activities are performed, the first of which is the Puja. The worshipers and fasting individuals must wake up before sunrise and take a special bath in notable rivers like Ganga and Yamuna. However, a private bath is also acceptable.

Puja activities are arranged in various places, with factories being a prominent location. All factory workers are required to prepare for the Puja and participate by reciting Mantras in front of the idol of Vishwakarma placed before them.

As Vishwakarma traveled on an elephant, the animal holds immense respect, and a special Puja activity is offered to the animal. Banana leaves are taken from the gardens and used to dress the elephants for the Puja. These same leaves are also used to offer Tulsi and perform the Puja.

Devotion to food is another crucial activity during Vishwakarma Puja. The food that people take to the Mandir or factory places is distributed among the poor and needy after the day of Vishwakarma Puja.
