Vishwakarma Puja

Vishwakarma Puja is a festival celebrated in respect of Vishwakarma God. on this festival; there is the birthday of Vishwakarma, marked with great devotion and love. Vishwakarma is the God of Hindus, also named the God that creates all humans and the universe. Only religious activities are offered on this day. In those religious activities, the first activity is related to the Puja. The remarkable Puja of Vishwakarma is provided on the special day when Kanya Sankranti is celebrated. The first architect formed in the world was the architect of Vishwakarma God. To honour the architect of Vishwakarma, this event has great importance. 

Works done on Vishwakarma Puja.

The following worships are offered on Vishwakarma Puja.

  • All the Puja offering persons and the fast offering persons have to get up before the sun rises. They have to take a unique path in the notable rivers named the Ganga and Yamuna. 
  • The necessary bath on Vishwakarma Puja can also be taken in private baths. There is a Puja activity that is arranged at the different places. In those places, a first place is a factory place. 
  • The factories are large, so the Puja activity can also be performed there. All the workers that work in the factory are told to get ready for the Puja of Vishwakarma. The idols of Vishwakarma are placed in front of each person. 
  • As the idols are placed, the Puja is started by all persons by reciting the Manter. The Elephant is considered the vehicle of Vishwakarma. A particular Puja activity is offered to the animal of the Vishwakarma. 
  • The Lord Vishwakarma Traveled on this animal as where ever he went. So the vehicle of God is also respected by all celebrators. For the Puja of animals, the Banana leaves are taken from the gardens of the bananas.
  • The banana leaves plucked from the garden are only for the animal of Vishwakarma. These leaves are also used to dress elephants and offer Puja to them by taking Tulsi in them.
  • Another activity is related to the devotion to food. The food that the people take to the Mander or the factory places is divided among the poor and all the needy after the day of Vishwakarma Puja.
