The grand ceremony is related to the marriage, held at the Vivah Panchami event. The marriage ceremony that is held is named the Sita marriage ceremony. The month, called Marghashirsha, has tremendous importance regarding the Vivah Panchami day celebrated this month. Last year, it was celebrated on the 28th of November. The worship on Vivah Panchami is also dedicated to the Rama, that is Holy person, and Hindus have given it the authority of God. the Tithi activities performed on this day are named Panchami Tithis, and this Tithi activity is performed on the Mander.
Celebrations on Vivah Panchami day
There are grand marriage celebrations that are held on this day following the marriage of Sita. The Temples are decorated with lights, and the flowers are also taken in the Tempes for making the Garlands for offering them to the Sita. As the marriage ceremony starts, the garlands that are made are delivered to the idols of Sita. The women present the Diyas to the SITA for the long life of their children. All the celebrations are performed in those Manders of the SITA present in Uttar Pradesh. In addition, the marriage ceremony of the Sita is also served in Nepal.
Acts related to Vivah Panchami day
As it is the day on which the worship is offered to the great God Rama, and there is a ceremony related to the marriage so, for this purpose
- The idols are taken from the bazaars specially built for pointing the Rama and Sita. The models that are taken from the bazaar are placed on the wood.
- The exceptional jewelry is taken from the bazaars to decorate the idols of Rama and Sita. These are decorated one day before the event.
- Before the festival, the temple is unavailable for offering worship to the Sita. On the event day, the temple is available for everyone who wants to provide Puja or other worship to the Sita and Rama.
- The different types of fruits are offered to the Gods on this day. A total of 5 fruits are submitted, including Meetha Paan, Halwa, etc.
- In the Ram Darbar, the idols of the SITA and Rama are also placed there. The Ram Darbar is also well decorated and adorned with fresh flowers. The Puja is offered to the Sita, and after the Puja, the marriage ceremony starts. After the marriage ceremony, the festival ended with distributing the five foods among the poor that were presented to the Sita and Rama.
