World Environment Day

World Environment Day is the day celebrated since 1973 under the UNEP in different areas, especially in the united states, about the environment. Every 5th of June, this day is celebrated in various regions worldwide, especially in the united states. The environment faces multiple issues due to the wrong activities of the people related to the environment. People add harmful materials to the environment that add to the pollution of the environmental pollution domain. The main topic of speeches on this day is the pollution caused due to the burning of pollution. Plastic burning on a large scale is not allowed in big cities due to the harmful effects of the smoke produced from its burning.

Main Environmental pollutions

We need the environment we live in, and we have to care about it. But due to people’s negligence, the earth’s climate is destroyed daily. The leading cause of destroying the earth’s atmosphere is the pollutants added to the new environment and becoming polluted. The leading causes of pollution faced by society are air and water pollution. The other breakdowns are soil and noise pollution.

Depletion of the ozone layer

The ozone layer is depleting day by day. The chlorofluorocarbons released from refrigerators are the leading cause of the depletion of the ozone layer because the oxides of sulphur and nitrogen are present in them that react with the oxygen items of the air and cause acid rain and deplete the ozone layer. Due to this, the harmful rays reach the earth, and the environment is polluted with those sun rays that are the leading cause of cancer.
